If you are wondering what happened to that stylin' page that used to be here, you can still get to it through the 'Classic' link in the links. As is always the case, the path from there to here in interesting (at least to me).
I was researching portal software for work and while looking at all the multi-hundreds of thousand dollar ones, I also found an open source one called DotNetNuke. Being open source, I decided to try it out at home. Not being easily impressed with software, I am truly amazed at this piece. The emphasis is on content management, so everything can be configured, extended and changed through the online interface.
I've been moving the various pieces of reasonably interesting information from the old site into this. It's definitely a spare time activity, which is why I wanted to leave the classic view intact.
